Since 1985...

Commitment and Dedication to serving the end-user!

Northwest Software Technologies (NWSoftware) is a division of MaxGiving, LLC, Boise, ID. NWSoftware retired as an operational corporation after 32 years in business (December 2017). Originally in business since 1985, NWSoftware's staff brings extensive experience in computer technology and business application development. This division of MaxGiving continues the tradition of developing and providing the pioneering and premiere suite of event fundraising management software applications to the nonprofit and educational vertical markets in the U.S., Australia, Canada.

Since 1992, NWSoftware has been the pioneering and leading developer of Event Fundraising Software to the nonprofit and educational vertical market sectors. Overall, our applications have helped to raise in excess of $5 BILLION for children's charities, private education, hospital care, the arts and more!

In 2010 NWSoftware celebrated its silver anniversary and we continued our mission of enhancing software technology to increase productivity and revenue levels of the event fundraiser. For example, our "One Source" data management design eliminated multiple data sources for event fundraising management; Integration of electronic hand-held bidding technology from IML gave our user community the next generation in silent auction bidding that enhanced the patron's focus on giving while substantially reducing, and in many cases eliminating, multiple volunteer data entry tasks; Integrated online auction event management eliminated the need to manage goods and services procured from multiple data sources while providing absolute integration to the virtual (online) benefit auction. The resulting solution provides a level of comprehensive, long-term data management analysis and federal tax reporting compliance not provided by other online auction sites to their users.

In 2015, we celebrated a milestone that few software publishers in the computer industry achieve; 30 years in business. How does our application suite differentiate itself from the market? Its starts with listening to the end-user and responding to their needs. Today's event fundraisers are far more competitive than they were 20 years ago. With more nonprofits competing for the same procurement dollar it takes smart, long-term data management and planning to be consistently successful. Our applications have proven themselves time and again to help our end-user community be successful today, while placing them in the position to turn event participants into long-term contributors of the nonprofit. Hence the art of exponential event fundraising!

On December 31, 2017 Northwest Software Technologies, Inc. was wholly acquired by and is now a division of MaxGiving, LLC of Boise, Idaho

In 2018 Northwest Software returns diversification to the event fundraising software application market. As the benefit auction platform becomes overcrowded, many nonprofit organizations are looking to other forms of event fundraisers to raise funds for their cause. Banquet-Tracker v4.00, an application originally released in 1994 is reintroduced to the market. Statistically, fundraising banquets provide nearly the same amount of revenue as a benefit auction but with significantly less work.
